   Broadband here in China is fast enough but atleast u guys in malaysia still can access to technorati, wordpress.com, most of the TW & HK sites, geocities, angelfire and many more…

   but the most dammit is that China GFW blocked Wikipedia too, mfckr#$%*!@

   Hopefully our bolehland wont do the same.

   I must differ from your opinion, the Streamyx User Group is not a waste of time – if you research further, Jeff Ooi (who set up the SIG) did mention that some of the suggestions that they made were actually implemented. I can’t see how you can think that complaining and swearing on your blog is going to bring more benefit than setting up a meeting with the top management of the company.

   The problem with a lot of people is that while they are content to complain about their service, how much are they doing about it? Why not refer your more tech proficient friends to work for Streamyx? Have you researched any other ISPs in your area? Why not provide a more detailed report of what problems you have (eg, what times is it usually down, ping rate, etc?)

   I’m as dissatisfied as you when it comes to the issue of broadband here, which is why I’ve created http://www.redesignmalaysia.com – a website to address broadband issues in Malaysia. I’m hoping that you can use your time to contribute details on the problems that you face, and better yet if you can submit the exact area on the digital coverage map. Nothing against you personally, but really, I feel I had to speak out against the negative attitude you had towards people who are actually doing more than just complaining.

    It’s not just the internet slow my dearest complainers. I have had disconnections a billion times in weeks. It connects for a while then disconnects then its slow again. There will never be a competition with TMNET because they know there wouldn’t be.
    Like our F**king MAS that thinks that they are kings in the air when airasia comes. They are bankrupting. Good for them. There goes are patriotic MAS let their wings hang in the air and crash headfirst to the deepest toilet they can find and let AirAsia flush them down. I believe soon enough someone will open another ISP cheap and better enough than TMNET dont care if they are slightly expensive. Scr*w TMNET till they bankrupt. How bout this why not we dump a couple of papers on peoples cars promoting them NOT TO USE TMNET if possible. They are Cheats! They have more than enough bandwidth! They are giving empty promises to homeusers. The limited high bandwidth to the highest bidder. No guarantee you’ll get 1mb for 88 for home user F*ck you you are not a business man. I hate the guts of TMNET but still stuck with them. Sh*t
    I feel like putting 4 letter words till I get banned from this blog. How bout we stop complainning and do something.
    Lets flood their comment system with complaints. I mean litterally flood them with the worst comments possible. We can start a chainmail letting everyone know when to flood TMNETS comment emails and just flood them. Or we can just sent a chainmail putting TMNET SUCKS and we add all our comments over there. Spread it all over the world to see. Even internationally. Let them be the shame of the year. Sent a chainmail, I’ll collect every single comment I’ve seen in this google search engine compile them and just spread them to the emails forwarding to every single living souls till TMNET just have to say something or lose face. whos with me! Lets f*ck TMNET! I want my wasted 1 years cash to be worth every single penny of making TMNET regret for what they have done to us homeusers. They are just sitting there promoting adding more fools like us into the pool so that they can collect more money paying 1GB when we get 1MB. So they could enjoy y*nking their di*ks with the stacks of cash and f*cking our brains and calls us suckers. I feel just plain stupid because I believe they have labled me that by now. I want to get even with them. They have won too many times. Bullsh*tting us. They will say you gullible fo*ls. Thanks for all the fish, ha ha S*ckers. I’m too angry right now. I believe you guys all are. If you have cooled down. They will s*cker you again and you will be so mad till you are sick in your stomach. Lets get even with them. I mean it.     i am strongly agree with u that tmnet streamyx is sucks!!!!!! my streamyx is having disconnect problem everyday, and it is frustrate! Talking about the service, the technician is really sucks and unfriendly. They r just like unwilling to come to ur house and install streamyx. Hey who the hell they think they are?! They r just a technician tak layak sombong!!!! Having 1st class infrastructure but with 3rd class of service and quality. Malaysia really apa pun tak boleh, but good in wasting people money

    Dear Brothers,

    I have decided to quit from streamyx after 3 months of continual disconnection for a 1MB bandwith for RM88 monthly. I have made continuos calls for TMNET support and it is not free. I just got the bill for it RM27. The technician finally came after my 30th call and had rewired my line and I had paid RM80 for it. Guess what! THe first day it was alright. A few days later the disconnection got worst! Its so slow and unreliable that every 2 days I would have a day I would not able to connect the internet. I have decided to disconnect. 2 months I had left it to connect with so called port problem. They tell me their port connection at their place is okay and finally my place port is alright as well. Tell me where else has gone wrong. Guess what! Though multiple calls I have made again. Technicians have not called me to resolve the issue till todate. My report number has ran up to a month which is RM88 again. I have owed RM176 for nothing. Tell me should I pay for it? I am already feeling really stupid and conned since Siti Nurhaliza is a happy user for streamyx as ambassador. I am currently working in a IT company that signs up for 1MB streamyx connection where more than 50 people share. Its fast. Tell me how frustrated I should be. Even 1MB already offered for RM77 yet it is slow for our home users. I am still interested to voice out by forwarded emails. Here is my email: melvinleechenglee@gmail.com

    Contact Trade department.. Complain that they r cheating.. And wan your money bad.
    Disconnection problem is very common..
    Even i use dial-up connection, sometime i can get my jobs done earlier..
    You know y?? Coz, i didn’t get disconnection problem by using dial-up connection.
    And normally, i have to wait for half an hour for reconnection…. (Including reset router)
    End-up…. Dial-up is faster… Malaysia BOLEH!!!

    I’ve been playing BF2142 for 3 months now…….but i got kicked out by most of the servers…….I played singapore and Australian servers for the 2 months and thier pings were bout 60ms and in Aus server is 125ms. they were fine. ENTER the F**king 3rd month, the ping kicked to 300ms to 750ms…..what the hell is wrong the connections!!!! Now i can only play a Malaysian server.

    Hi i wish someone would speak for for Malaysia, Tmnet high price plus low speed is effecting the economy and effecting communication and time. Lets say u want to search for a cheap price airasia ticket surpose with high internet speed u can finish doing within 5 mins but because the internet traffic with streamyx and it keeps saying server you wasted half and hour. If 1000 people means wasted 300000 hours. Imagine how many people are there in Malaysia.That is why our economy production curve is getting lower.

    Just read about the fucking FAIR USAGE POLICY in their new streamyx website. It is trully FUCK UP man!!
    They are preventing Heavy Users from using heavily !!
    Then what the fuck are these Heavy Users like me paying RM268.00 a month for a fucking 4MB line when they expect me to use 256K or less ?#@#??
    Stupid screwed up ISP isn’t it??
    This simply means their INFRA is not set up to meet what they market and claimed to be !!!
    WHAT A DISGRACE TO THE COUNTRY MAN !!
    They got the guts to charge people for 4MB price BUT prevent people from using 4MB. This is real daylight robbery and making customers like bloody fools.
